Overseeing the procurement process from start to finish. This includes identifying sourcing needs, identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services. Procurement specialists must work closely with other departments within the organization such as finance, legal, and operations to ensure that all procurement decisions align with the company’s goals. 1) Researching and evaluating potential suppliers for quality, reliability, pricing and delivery. 2) Liaising with internal & external project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations. 3) Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions. 4) Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements for RM, PM, FG and other related to factory needs such as maintenance and production requirements. 5) Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns. 6) Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings 7) Work with Suppliers to expedite late or urgent orders. 8) Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies. 9) Monitoring and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery. 10) Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations. 11) Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, credit facility, etc.
